Trade Ben Roethlisberger to the St. Louis Rams for the #1 overall pick — Sam Bradford. Throw in an extra draft pick if need be.

Send a stern message to Roethlisberger and his ridiculous mullet that punks who disrespect the organization and its fans won’t be tolerated in the city of Pittsburgh. In fact, they get shipped to teams that are 1-15.

Start anew with a younger, high character franchise quarterback who has a firm grasp of how much an honor it really is to be a Pittsburgh Steeler. 

Take your lumps for a season and then reap the benefits for the next fifteen years. Hell if you need a servicable stop-gap in 2010, Jason Campbell is available for the fifth round draft pick you received for Santonio Holmes.

After Art Rooney’s comments today, you don’t think teams will be foaming at the mouth to receive Roethlisberger’s services? With the NFL Draft exactly one week away, the Steelers need to strike while the iron’s hot — because if Ben screws up again, they won’t be able to get more than a ham sandwich for him.
